What happens after you quit your job?

A few months ago I wrote an article embracing people on LinkedIn to quit their job or at least question if they were on the right one. When I wrote it, I felt like it was the right thing to do. What I didn’t know is that it was premonitory. Only a couple of months later I was cleaning my desk and saying goodbye to my colleagues.

So this article, it’s for those who read me on January and felt afraid of what would happen after the three big words were spoken (“I quit my job”).

It happens…

That you suddenly realize you have no idea about laws and taxes. So you have to pay someone to get your deals and income in order.

It happens…

That it feels better than you imagined. The freedom of working with the quality and timing standards you always believed in.

It happens…

That suddenly you are surrounded by amazing people that, as yourself, are following their dreams. The best part of it, is that you can choose with whom you want to share this journey.

It happens…

That you’ll be surprised by the amount of people that trusts in you and in your work. I can’t say enough times “thanks” to those you had believed in me, and they are betting for my project.

It happens…

That’s the thing. Suddenly, when you decide something with your head, your heart and your guts… everything starts happening.
